"The mission of an architect is to help people understand how to make life more beautiful, the world a better one for living in, and to give reason, rhyme, and meaning to life." - Frank Lloyd Wright
Happy Summer Solstice 2025—the first official day of summer and the longest day of the year! Today marks a perfect moment for reflection and celebrating the sun's incredible energy and power. Wright's visionary design of the main house at Graycliff beautifully captures this spirit, deliberately framing the setting solstice sun. His thoughtful architecture reminds us how design can deepen our connection with the natural world around us, especially here along the stunning shores of Lake Erie. 💕
👉👉👉 Tomorrow we celebrate with our annual Summer Solstice Garden Party! If you missed out on tickets to the event, you can still participate in our silent auction featuring raffle items and ready-to-hang photography of Graycliff sponsored by CEPA Gallery.
🚨 During the event, we'll have live painting by talented artists: Kevin Burzynski, Michelle Capizzi, Markenzy Cesar, Peter Fowler, & Elizabeth Gatto—we'll be sharing images as these works come to life!
👉👉👉 The auction closes in one week, on June 27. Bid here: https://summersolstice3.cbo.io/ (link in profile) 🎨✨
