Today marks the official start of winter, which means . . . we're already counting down to summer!!

Graycliff was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright as a summer retreat on Lake Erie- a place to embrace the season's warmth, beauty, and long evening light. Summer 2026 is shaping up to be unforgettable as we celebrate Graycliff's centennial year!

🚨We're thrilled to announce the Market at Graycliff is returning!

This beloved summer tradition will be back on our historic grounds, bringing together local artisans, makers, and food vendors on Thursday evenings.

Save the date: Opening night is July 9, and the Market will run Thursday evenings through September 3.

Our official call for vendors will launch early in the new year. Want to be first to know when applications open? Send an email to Events Manager Alyssa Adler at [email protected] and we'll be sure to alert you the moment the call goes live.

While we'll miss the vibrant community gatherings this year, this pause is setting the stage for something truly special—a fully reinvigorated Market experience returning in 2026!

Wright's visionary design of the main house at Graycliff beautifully captures this spirit, deliberately framing the setting solstice sun. His thoughtful architecture reminds us how design can deepen our connection with the natural world around us, especially here along the stunning shores of Lake Erie. 💕

Exciting progress at Frank Lloyd Wright's Graycliff! Our new Visitor Center is taking shape beautifully!

These aerial views show the current state of our historic site. As you can see, Frank Lloyd Wright's lakefront gem and the immediate surrounding landscape remain unaffected by construction.

The walls are rising, the foundation is solid, and we're on track for our 2026 opening! This exciting transformation will enhance the visitor experience in so many ways.

Meanwhile, guided tours of our Wright-designed main house continue weekly through the summer. There's never been a more fascinating time to visit – witness both Wright's timeless architecture AND the creation of world-class visitor facilities designed to honor his legacy.
