He was a welcome addition to the area restaurants and flourished there. Longing for home and family after a 20 year career in California, Chef Zachary returned to the Detroit area and brought his culinary delights with him. He was noted as one of the great chefs in Michigan when he was Executive Chef at Grosse Pointe’s restaurant One23. Now he has a line of spice blends for retail and commercial use plus a consulting and catering business that encompasses everything from family barbeques to weddings to large industrial events! His television and radio appearances have helped locals create aromatic dishes for their own families.
