Dexter is the place to be all day! Stop by the Dexter District Library for the Friends used books sale, and enjoy all the activities and vendors at the Dexter Summer Festival. don't forget the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra will be playing from 10am-11:30am here at the City of Dexter Farmers Market!

Tomorrow is a busy day in Dexter! We are open as normal from 8am-1pm for some shopping, fresh produce, locally sourced meat, and fresh flowers! 🥩🌱💐🥬🍪 We also have the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra's woodwind quartet playing from 10am-11:30am.

The Dexter District Library will have their Friends of the Library used book sale, and of course all the festivities going on in town for the Dexter Summer Festival! What a great day to be a Dreadnaught, see you tomorrow Dexter!

Our vendor spotlight this week is Frank’s Woodcraft ! This is his second year as a vendor at the Dexter Farmers Market!

Frank has quickly become a staple vendor for the Dexter Farmers Market. His passion for what he does is infectious! He is an "artisan from South Lyon, Michigan making kitchen and home products and gifts from native wood species. Each item is unique and represents the characteristics of the wood".

"I get so much out of meeting the folks that come to the Dexter Farmers Market - being able to provide custom products for them. I’ve made good friends with the other vendors and look forward to seeing them on Saturdays! This is a place of Community".

Stop by the market this Saturday from 8am-1pm to meet Frank and to purchase a cutting board, lazy susan, lamp, clock, or chat about getting something custom made with beautiful Motawi Tileworks!

Our vendor spotlight this week is Not Your Average Dough! This is Derek's second year as a vendor at the Dexter Farmers Market!

"My name is Derek and for as long as I can remember, I’ve loved cookies! My mom’s family chocolate chip cookie recipe has always been a crowd pleaser. I used to make them with her and bring them to school for birthdays when I was young and the teachers would always ask for the recipe. As I grew older, I still made the same cookies and shared them with friends and family. Everyone loved them so much that I decided to try making more flavors and found a lot of joy and excitement in sharing these cookies with my loved ones! With that, I started Not Your Average Dough so that I could share these cookies with even more cookie lovers in my own community! We all deserve a treat now and then and we hope that you’ll find your new favorite treat with Not Your Average Dough"!

Stop by the market this Saturday from 8am-1pm to meet Derek and grab a yummy cookie to eat while you shop, or enough for the whole week! 🍪
