New crops and old. We now have new crops of kohlrabi, carrots, spinach and romaine lettuce. In addition we still have purple peppers, kale, potatoes and green onions. You can reach us by messenger to order and pickup OR see us every Wednesday at the Iowa Stuart Iowa Farmer's Market from 4:30 to 6:30 pm until October 15 in Stuart Iowa of course. For those who love hot peppers we have jalapenos, Carolina Reaper and Habanero peppers.

Meet C.J. Farm's from Dexter. Chris and Joanna are new vendors this year. They are young and full of energy, offering a variety of vegetables, homemade salsa, spaghetti sauce and zucchini bread for sale. Duck and chicken eggs too.
Chris enjoys growing and JoAnna uses those fresh veggies to cook some fantastic meals. Check out their page or visit the market on Wednesday 4:30-6:30 to meet them in person and sample their products.

Stuart Farmer's Market begins May 22, on Wednesday from 4:30-6:30 pm., at the City Park on Division Street. In season now: Onions, radishes, asparagus, lettuce, spinach, kohlrabi, & rhubarb. Transplants, jams, jellies, baked goods, snacks (to eat while you stroll around) and crafts. Hope to see you new and returning customers!

Picking lots of small pickling cucumbers now. Picked fresh daily. 3-4 inch size are $1.50 per lb. Smaller size are a bit more. All sizes available. We also have slicing cucumbers, peppers, beets, onions, broccoli, and kale.

We are a little slow this year due to a knee operation "gone bad". Ken is recuperating slowly but surely. Vegetables are still growing and we are still attending the Stuart Iowa Farmers Market on Wednesday evenings from 4:30-6:30. This year we have, or will have asparagus, beets, tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries, beans, peas, gooseberries, carrots, potatoes, onions, kohlrabi, broccoli, kale, peppers and of course my favorite, okra.

This weekend we snagged some breakfast burritos from Gateway Market. They are made by HoQ restaurant. They are really good and our 16 month old Granddaughter loved them too.
