Me and Mandy jetted off to Galena last Saturday for a girl’s shopping afternoon. New outfits were needed lol! Actually we just needed to do something frivolous and fun for the day.

Fun fact about my sourdough starter - I’ve kept it alive since 2018! I’ve got backups in the freezer and backups to the backups! Yes, freezing works, it just takes a couple days to bring it back to life.
Also, I feel like one of the many reasons our bread is so good, is because of our near-perfect well water. We get it tested every other year. It’s the best water I’ve ever tasted, personally. And since bread is basically half water - good water is so important!

So about those bees, huh? 🐝😬They were awful last week at markets! I mean, it’s cuz we are so sweet, of course! But we hear ya! So we’ve got some mini fans we’ll be sportin’ on the booth at markets. Maybe a jar of sugar liquid somewhere off to the side to deter them as well.

Oh - Pasta Sauce and Salsa are BACK! Like, for a cameo moment only, and that’s only if Michael doesnt keep it all for winter. 🤭

It’s a rare occasion when all 3 sisters get to spend time together! So we took full advantage of it Saturday night at Blue River Autumn Fest! I swear Amber is the oldest!

Welcome to September and fall vibes and flavors! We brought on a few of those flavors last week and we are not stopping! More donuts! more bread!!!

As we near the end of August, we notice a change happening at Sunny Side Down. Our summer muscle help stops as they need back to school and football and we start to bring back those fall flavors that everyone loves and waits for! Apple C***r Donuts anyone???? Sweet Potato Bread??? Yum!
