This was sent to our page and she asked that we share it with everyone!

Hello, my name is Tara Frisk I am the daughter of Philip Frisk. A very wrongdoing was done to my father while he is in his rehabilitation center. Someone has broken into his home and his green houses. They have taken items that don’t belong to them from his home also have taken most of his starter cactuses and baby plants. If you or anyone hear of information that could lead to the source of the person responsible there is a personal reward on my part. I have the funds in the resources to pursue and prosecute anyone responsible for taking Advantage of my father well he’s in the condition he is in. It’s very sad and wrong that anybody would do so but if you could make some sort of a post I would appreciate it cameras are being installed inside his home and on the premises of his property to ensure that this does not happen again. It would not let me post this information myself so I’m asking for you to do this on behalf of myself and my father. He is still in rehabilitation at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. His infection returned and we do not have a really lease date as of yet. But I will update you as I am updated by the hospital itself. Thank you, and thank you for sharing the fundraiser.

Story
My father began battling Melanoma cancer which began on the top of his head and went through his skull bone and affected the outer layer of his brain. After surgery to remove it a few skin graphs, radiation... The skin graphs had failed due to an infection and they re-grafted the top of his head. Due to the infection the second skin graft did not take and near thinks giving the infection was so severe that by December 1 I had called friends back in Missouri who knew him well to check on him. Those friends called emergency services and he was transported to Poplar Bluff Regional Med Center medical center. His condition was so bad that he was then transported to St. Louis Missouri to Barnes Jewish Hospital where he was under the care of a great physician and begin to improve after 30 days. Due to the fact that his skull could not be replaced he was due to have a plate installed as soon as his infection was cleared, in 2 Year he still hadn’t reached that point .He is supposed to wear a helmet to protect himself. January 4th while in the rehabilitation center for disease control within Barnes Jewish Hospital he took a fall and it has caused him a severe setback. Since the fall he as declined in health and the infection known as Mersa has now spread to the right side of his brain. Now back in ICU we await his recovery and as soon as he is able to travel I will be bringing him home to live under my care until we can get him back on his feet. Due to his limited income I am asking for assistance of any kind. We are in need of a wheelchair, A hospital style bed and any other medical necessities to care for him in home. If these are his final days I prefer and I know he prefers not to spend them with doctors poking and prodding him. Although I may be the last generation that cares to take care of an ill parent I believe those to be his wishes. With any luck we will get him back on his feet and functioning as the vibrant hard-working man he was before the cancer begin. Any help is appreciated, if you know me at all I am actually disabled myself so caring for him will be a challenge but one I am very much up for. Financially I cannot take this burden on by myself but if I can bypass purchasing medical device is necessary for his care that will make the day-to-day process much easier. Please pass along what you can, items that are donated will hopefully be temporary measures and possibly returned if so needed. My father receives $97 every two weeks as a part of a settlement on behalf of Worker’s Comp. This will not be near enough to take care of his financial necessities for care and medical. Anything you can do to help is much appreciated. Although money for medical care would help tremendously, donations of any kid are welcomed and greatly appreciated!! Thank you and God bless

With great regret this announcement it’s very hard to make.
Ripley County Farmer’s Market Will be closed for the rest of the 2018 season. It was voted unanimously that this decision would be for the best.
As most know, the market has been in decline for sometime now. Due to many unfortunate circumstances.
We will be exploring new ideas, making new plans to make the 2019 season the best ever.
We will miss you all, and will be looking forward with great anticipation to seeing everybody next year.

For vendors, and customers interested in buying, or selling items that are normally found at the farmers market. We have a page called; Ripley County Farmers Market Group. On that page, you can join the group, and post what you were selling, or wanting to buy. The rules are the same as the market. You have to make it, bake it, or grow it!
Please share, and pass on.
Thank You, Everyone, and Take Care.

Sincerely
The members of Ripley County Farmer’s Market
