This country is a beautiful country. From the salty coastline out east to the precious great lakes, to the gorgeous mountains, deserts and all the way to the redwoods and beyond, this country is filled with so much beauty, so many good people and vast expanses of fertile soil. Yes, we have a lot of overwhelming challenges and yes, we don’t always treat our sacred lands as they should be, but I believe in the goodness in people and I believe that we can still create a better world for our future generations. And every soldier who laid down their life for this country felt the same way. I am deeply grateful for their ultimate sacrifice. On this Memorial Day, let us remember those folks who loved this country and believed in this country’s greatness. Last night was Wendy Hallgren’s celebration of life. The family was totally blown away by the amazing and beautiful turnout of guests. Our staff is feeling tender but grateful today. We hope you are enjoying this gorgeous sunny Thursday. Stop in for some fresh, local food today. 🌸💓🪻

Thank you so much to everyone for the kind words and support during a hard time. It means the world to us. The Hallgrens feel all the kindness also. We will be closing at 3pm on Wednesday so that our staff can attend Wendy’s service. Once again, thank you for your understanding. We live in the best community.

We will be closed tomorrow, Sunday, May 17th. Our staff has had a very difficult week. Our two chefs, Nick and Matt, lost their mother, Wendy Hallgren, on Wednesday evening, in a car accident. The whole staff is heart broken, as Wendy was a friend to us all and our hearts break for our chefs and their families. We will be a little short staffed for the next few weeks, but will do our best to continue to give the best service and food possible. Thank you for your understanding & support during this difficult time.
