The Farmhouse Deli & Pantry features Michigan cheeses, cured, roasted and smoked meats (some done in house) and a wide variety of soups and salads featuring fruits, vegetables and grains prepared in a vibrantly healthy manner. We offer a selection of our favorite ingredients packaged for home use, including olive oils, pastas, grains, tomatoes and more. With winter approaching the Farmhouse Deli w

A lovely woman and her sweet dog. We are open from 9 to 6 tomorrow but closed on Sunday so make sure that you stock up on all of your favorite Farmhouse sandwiches, salads & provisions.

Here are three of the four books from our latest round of cool books. A few on plant dyeing- what a great time of year to try dying fibers with plants. And one from my favorite mentor from my early years- Simple Food, by Alice Waters. I am so excited to read it, and to try some of her recipes. The fourth book is all about dried beans. Every summer, this incredible group of young people becomes the backbone of Farmhouse, showing up through our busiest days with energy, laughter, hard work and a willingness to do whatever needs to be done. We truly could not do what we do without them.

And then August comes, and one by one we have to say goodbye as they head to college and on to their next adventures.

I hope you all know how much I love and appreciate you, and how incredibly proud I am of the people you are becoming. Thank you for giving us your summers, for taking such good care of Farmhouse and our customers, and especially for taking care of each other.

As you head out into the world, I hope you stay curious, take chances, work hard, make room for joy and always believe in yourselves. There is so much waiting for each of you, and I can’t wait to see where life takes you.

You will always have a home at Farmhouse and a whole lot of people here cheering you on. ❤️
