The porch is closed this weekend while they get installed (and while we squeeze in a little birthday celebrating). We’ll be back open Friday, September 11.
Here’s the part I really want to say. It’s been almost a year since I first opened the porch to the neighborhood to share the recipes I love and the things we grow and make here. I did not expect this. I’ve had a hard time keeping up, and I know that’s a good problem, but it never feels good to watch someone walk up after the last boule or the last cookies are gone. That’s what these ovens are for. I’ll be able to bake about 60% more in a single go, which means more of what you actually come for, more often.
This community bought those ovens. Every cookie, every dozen eggs, every “we’ll be back next week.” Thank you. 💕
And October marks one year. I’ve got a few things in the works to make it a little extra special for everyone who’s been part of this. More soon!
