Peony season is almost here. 🌸
A few of these beauties live in the backyard, and I just planted two more into the front yard this week. I love the ruffled petals, the layers of pink, and the way they hold up in a vase long enough to really enjoy them inside.
A few small bouquets will find their way to the front porch after the farm stand reopens Friday, May 22 🎀

Today we had to say the most impossible goodbye, to the Duchess of Dover 💜
Duchess was everything an Irish Wolfhound should be — enormous in size with an even bigger heart. She never met a person she didn’t want to lean into, and if you’ve walked past our house or met her on walks, you probably know exactly what that felt like.
Thank you to everyone who stopped to pet her, who smiled when they saw her coming, and who loved her alongside us 🐾
