Heyyyyy!

Sorry for my long hiatus, and this isn’t an “I’m back post”! I am planning a small come back soon (this school year has kicked my butt so it will be closer to summer). So don’t worry soon I will be back to slinging bread and cookies (and a few new things!!) at you!

If you have been dying for some smore cookies though, I heard a rumor that there will be some down at the Chad Willis Benefit today at the Elks at the bake sale!

Chad has always been an important part of my educational career. He was there during my interview, he was the counselor at my school for my first few years of teaching, he was my school counselor again a few years later when I transferred schools. A lot of my early memories of teaching involve Mr Willis (especially how much he loved doing lessons with kindergarten! 🙃🙃) Chad is one of the best guys I know and he has the most amazing family. Go down to the Elks and support this wonderful family!!! And buy lots of baked goods!!!

At this time, I’m not sure if I will be doing a preorder in December. My weekends are very very full already! I’ll keep everyone updated! 🙂

🍪Pick up and more!🍪

🍪if you placed an Ottumwa pick up order, pick ups will be tomorrow 10/27 in the back James Elementary parking lot form 3:30-5:00. Unless you have arranged with me differently that is where I will be! 🙂

🍪I have extra pumpkin crunch bagels, Jalapeno cheddar bagels, s’mores cookies, a regular loaf in the shape of a pumpkin if you are interested and I can bring them to Ottumwa with me tomorrow!

🍪Preorders went VERY well for me as I was trying to reduce waste. I only had issues with 12 cookies, but they weren’t wasted. I think my coworkers were pleased 🖤 I think I want to continue preorders for the next couple of months as it is getting into a busy season of our family life. I do plan on taking all of January off from farm standing.
Here are my for sure preorder dates for November and December: November 26th pick up and December 23rd pick up. I will probably add a couple of days but those are for sure.

🍪I’ve had a few people ask me about placing orders for birthdays other things. I would love to do those things! However I will have to put some boundaries in place to make it work on my end. I will need at least a week minimum in advance, a minimum $50 order, and it must be prepaid either via Venmo or cash. I hate to do it that way, but my time with my babies is precious 🖤

🍪unfortunately, prices of a lot of my ingredients have gone up. Most of it hasn’t affected me that much, but one thing that has is oddly Hershey chocolate bars for s’mores cookies. I don’t plan on changing chocolate, but I will probably have to make a change to how many pieces I put on the cookies. Just thought I would give the heads up!
