I am a self taught baker as Im sure you can tell because the cakes get better as I go! I have recently turned my hobby into a business that has already been keeping me busy. It was my husbands birthday last week, I made him a chocolate Oreo cake. I always feel a little bad about my family's birthdays. You'd think they would get some amazing cake (and I have made a couple fancy ones) however they are most always incredibly basic lol. I'd rather spend the day with them on their birthday, than all day in the kitchen for something that looks good for a few minutes before it is devoured!
