Good Morning!

The LGD’s are bouncing around with the cooler temps and mimicking everyone’s excitement of the turn of the season. The average first frost date for this area is November 6th, which is not too far off. Hunting season starts around then, too.

Watch for deer in rut this time of year. The males are out of their minds chasing females and the females are out of their minds running away. Roads and cars are not on their radar.

Always scan the sides of the road beyond the fence lines. They come soaring over fences into the roads in the heat of the chase. If you see one, look for others following.

It’s easy to get distracted watching the skies with flight migrations and it’s getting darker earlier. So stay alert!

On that note, most moms are alert to the fact that the holidays are just around the corner and each of us has our own things to balance in that.

Maybe you can go off the rails the whole season with your normal eating standards and be just fine. Maybe you can have one meal not to standard without feeling any consequences and maybe you can’t. Maybe, you can have an item. Maybe even an item sets off a fire.

We are all here at this table for different reasons. Some of us are perfectly healthy and eating farm-fresh because we want to stay that way. Some of us are here to heal from conventional medicine and food.

Whatever the reason you're here, we got you. We have the food for your table and we have the tools to help you if you have to venture off your norm.

Whether you need to simply detox or need to work your way out of an autoimmune flair or both, we got you!

Tools and toolkit are key words in the health journey. So while we venture into more discussion about sourcing, we will also start talking tools and toolkits.

For now, enjoy the weather and access to good, clean food before holiday travels start. Tis the season for hot tea and coffee while celebrating conquering back-to-school!

As always, we thank you for walking through our doors each week and we look forward to seeing you!

Meet the Maker Wednesday

Bread and Zest

This Wednesday, come meet Anat, the baker behind Bread and Zest!

Anat grew up in a home full of fresh, home-cooked meals bursting with flavor and love. When she moved to Austin, it was only natural to bring those delicious traditions with her through her cooking. Her wish? To share her love of food and bring people together through every bite.

We carry their Gluten-Free Sourdough Crackers, and they are incredible. Come meet Anat, try them for yourself, and stock up!
