Community Action Duluth has made the difficult decision to cancel the upcoming farmers markets due to several contributing factors. We remain deeply committed to supporting local growers, small businesses, and community access to fresh, healthy food. We look forward to bringing new and engaging opportunities to connect with our community in the near future.

That's a wrap on the 2025 Central Hillside Farmers Market season, let's recap!

This year, the market:

🥕 kept over $20,000 in our community
🍎 saw 205 EBT transactions, representing over $4,300 in matching market bucks
🥦 364 youth and elders participated in the Power of Produce program to receive $4 to spend on fresh fruits and veggies
🌽provided over $1,000 in free produce to people dealing with both health issues & food insecurity
🥒 connected 30 local small business owners, non-profits, and youth entrepreneurs to customers in their community

Thank you so much to our vendors, community partners, volunteers, and everyone who contributed to another great season!

Tomorrow is the final day at the Central Hillside Farmers Market for 2025 - it's hard to believe that the season is coming to a close already!

Ready for a First Kiss? 😘 The First Kiss apple is a very crisp and juicy variety, a cross between Honeycrisp and an unknown Arkansas variety, developed by the University of Minnesota. We have been snacking on these guys HARD - they are so so good!

We are moving INSIDE today!

Due to the drippy forecast, we are going to keep our vendors and customers dry and move inside.

The indoor location is at the Lincoln Park Commons building at
2424 W 5th St and the market space will be accessible off 25th Ave
