Fresh green pinto beans are available now at Newswanger’s Produce and Garden Center.
Also called Shelley beans or horticultural beans.

The season for these beans is very short. We have plenty for Saturday and possibly a carryover for Monday. We expect to have at least one more batch next week but they are usually over my the middle of June.

Fresh shelled beans are sold in 3 bag sizes.

I can’t believe it’s that time of year already!
It’s butterbeans season.

We thought we would have green pintos today as well but they need a few more days. We ended up with just a few small bags of the pintos.
