If you ever need to decompress - I've got the place for you. There's just something about sitting and watching these guys have the time of their lives in their wallow.

And YES these pigs will be eaten when their time comes but until then, they have no idea how hard we work to keep them healthy and on fresh ground. They have no bad days here. Our animals are never medicated (unless it's the ONLY choice to save their life) but we nearly eliminate the risk for sickness by rotating our pigs (and everyone else) through pasture and forest. They're able to forage for whatever their body is telling them they need. This pork will be available for your freezers early Spring! Let us know if you'd like to make a deposit on a half or whole, individual cuts will also be available at our local butcher. As always, we are transparent here on our practices. If you're eating something you have no idea where it came from or how it lived - that's a problem!

Good Morning 🌞

Moving forward, if you haven't already noticed, I will be doing baked goods/breads every other week. Baking every week, in addition to doing all the cooking and baking I do to keep my own family stocked, is becoming too much to juggle. So, make sure you stock up on those weeks to get you through 2 weeks! Everything freezes beautifully, I have tips for thawing sourdough just message me, as it's the only thing that can change a tad after being frozen!

Plain sourdough round: $8
Brown sugar cinnamon pumpkin shaped: $10
Jalapeno cheddar sourdough (pictured): $11

1/2 dozen bagels: $7
1/2 dozen english muffins: $7

Milk Bread (white sandwich bread): $7
Pizza dough: $6/2 med. pizzas

I will also have a few (6 packs) oatmeal creme pies ($5/2 pack) + (5 packs) sourdough chocolate chip cookies ($4/2 pack) available from a gift basket I'll be putting together.

*You will notice a price increase of eggs due to the rising cost of organic feed.

No bread this week! I'm pretty sick and wouldn't feel good about pushing out baked goods into other families!

BUT Did you know I can do gift baskets? A family member commissioned me last week to make one for some friends of hers! It's overflowing with oatmeal creme pies, sourdough chocolate chip cookies, bagels, and sourdough bread! No one wants a gift basket of processed meats and cheeses that have been stored for God knows how long. Keep it fresh y'all! Holidays are just around the corner! 🍁🌲

Bread lovers!! Bread will be back in rotation this coming week! I've been experimenting with some new fall flavors - stay tuned! (I also ran out of flour and I buy it in bulk and have been waiting on that!)

In the meantime, here's a glimpse and all the 200+ precious little lives that rely on me every single day! (May and Rip are still on their boyfriend vacation down the road - we visit them daily!)

Everyday is a great day to be alive! In a world so messed up, there's still much to be grateful for if you only recognize it.

Our 13 pigs finally graduated to the forest today after electric fence and ni**le water training! I could sit for hours and watch them tussle through the leaves.

Fun fact: pastured raised//forest raised//mountain raised pork does NOT mean organic. It simply means the animal isn't kept in a barn or stall. It does NOT mean the animal rotationally grazes (like ours do) eliminating the need for vaccines and deworming. We only offer charcoal and pumpkin seasonally for a piggy treat/natural dewormer. We also manage our animal paddocks meticulously meaning our animals are always on fresh ground, never tracking through and laying in their own, or any other animals f***s. This does not include our chickens as they aid in scratching out cow patties and fertilizing our land. Pork not labelled organic, can be fed anything that's been genetically modified or sprayed with fertilizer, ultimately making it your plate. Know your labels, and your source, folks! 🐷

Our organic rotationally grazed pork will be available for your freezer early Spring 2025!

Sweet Week!!! :: Thank you all so much for your support lately! I love being able to fill yours and your families bellies with good food and in turn, have a little something to give back to my family. ❤️

This coming week is 'sweet week'. My new schedule will rotate weekly between bread week and sweet week. As always, if you need or want something from my menu on a weekly basis, just touch base and we can figure it out together!
