Hello everyone. I'm sure most people on here have already heard that we found a card skimmer at the Dunsmuir Supermarket and Mt. Shasta Supermarket. For those that don't know what that is. It's a device that looks exactly like our credit card terminal. People place them over the top of the existing terminal in an attempt to steal people's credit/debit/ebt information.

With help from local pd and our tech support company. We've since learned that the specific type we had can only read cards that were swiped. Chips/tap and mobile pay are safe as far as we know. (Thankfully swipe is the least common of the 4 now days) We're also pretty confident that this type of skimmer needs to be recovered by the person who put it there in order for them to access any of the information.

However, there is no way to know for sure. So anyone who has shopped with us recently we encourage you to double check your card statements.

Additionally we talked with our tech support company about counter measure we can put in place to prevent this from ever happening again. Which we will implement immediately.

We apologize for any problems/stress this may have caused anyone and will update you if we find out anything else.

——Delivery & Curbside Service—
We will begin a delivery service to the towns of Dunsmuir & Mt. Shasta on Tuesday, March 24th.

*To start, this service will be offered to anyone 65 or older and those who have been quarantined by order of a medical professional. The delivery service will be offered with no charge, but there will be a $30.00 minimum order amount required.

*This will be a drop-and-go service only so there will be no face to face contact.

*Call 530-925-0797 between
10 am - 4 pm Monday’s & Wednesday’s to place your order.

*Please have orders written down to minimize order time and try to plan for several days.

*Be prepared to pay with credit or debit card.

*No alcohol or to***co products will be available for delivery to comply with state ID requirements.

*Deliveries will be made on Tuesday
& Thursday between 1 pm & 5 pm by volunteers from the St. Barnabas Episcopal Church & community members.

We are small stores with some limits in selection so please be as specific as possible so we can get you the right items.

We will do our very best to pick you the freshest in meats and produce and the freshest dates on dairy products as if you were shopping for yourself.
