Ungraded Produce fights against food waste by coordinating farmers who demand markets for viable product with customers who want affordable, high-quality produce. We start by buying excess and “ugly” produce— fruit and vegetables with mild cosmetic defects that do not affect taste, nutritional content, or shelf life. Next, we package an assortment of produce into boxes and deliver them to customer

s’ doorsteps every other week. Ultimately, Ungraded’s vision is twofold: 1) we aim to challenge perceptions of what constitutes “marketable” produce, 2) we want to address inefficiencies in the food system by diverting high-quality product towards buyers.

I’m super excited to announce that Ungraded Produce and Hungry Harvest are joining forces and merging! Starting this weekend, Hungry Harvest will be sourcing, packing, and delivering your produce. They offer a selection of fully customizable and organic produce boxes, and I’m confident that you’ll be in great hands! One thing we love about sending fresh fruits and veggies out each week is knowing that our littlest customers are able to join in on the fun! "If you have been following me you already know that I make all of Ellie’s baby food. I know exactly what she is getting in eat serving, and there aren’t any weird preservatives in her food. This also means we get to try different fruits and veggies that aren’t in typical baby food. I will say, having to go to the grocery store at least once a week is, albeit, small downside. Until now, thanks to we get our produce shipped straight to our door, when we need it." -
