Seal the Seasons Seal the Seasons sells locally grown frozen fruit. We all want local produce, but you can only get it for a short period every year when it is in season.

By freezing at the peak of freshness, we have it available 365 days a year! We're the local farmer's market in your freezer. We partner with local family farms to freeze their food in season--delicious blueberries, blackberries, strawberries and peaches--and bring them to a grocery store near you.

Whether you are getting together with friends for a spooky movie night or need a snack while passing out candy on Halloween, try creating a local “charBOOterie” board like the one we made.

Some great local cheese companies to try on your board are Chapel Hill Creamery, Goat Lady Dairy | Climax, NC, Ashe County Cheese, Fading D Farm, Brown Creek Creamery, Boxcarr Handmade Cheese and Celebrity Dairy Farm. Some great local meats to try on your board are San Giuseppe Salami Co., Lady Edison, Shiners Stash Jerky, Hickory Nut Gap and Heritage Farms Cheshire Pork.

While most N.C. fruits are not in season in October, check out Got to Be NC member, Seal the Seasons for a variety of frozen fruits to thaw out for your board. Don’t forget, if you’re pairing your “charBOOterie” board with wine, drink local!
