It is with a heavy heart that i am announcing my decision to not rebuild Lewright Meats. This was not a decision which was made lightly. After months of design work, meetings, and planning, I made the ultimate decision to shut down Lewright Meats and start a new path. Between inflation, supply chain, and interest rates rising, the climate for building has become volatile and is not in the best interest for myself and my family. Throughout the process of trying to rebuilding, I have had the honor of working with some amazing companies and individuals who have gone over and above in order to assist us in the rebuilding process. The City of Eagle Grove, city administrator Bryce Davis the Eagle Grove City Council, Woodruff Construction, Sadler Construction, Rachel Hahn and Troy Crow from Ciras at Iowa State, Daren Robinson and Jenny van Jaarsveld from Homeland Realty and SO many more have been an absolute blessing to us and have done everything in their power to help us through this process. I am thankful that I had the opportunity to work with each and every one of them, along with so many others. Thank you all, for everything you did for us, you truly were a blessing. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of our loyal customers. Whether you brought us your livestock or simply bought meat, salads, sandwiches or gift boxes from us, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Lewright Meats would not have been the company it was without your loyal support throughout the years. I have had the honor of working with customers who's grandfather did business with my Grandfather, who's dad did business with my dad, and who then did business with myself. I have had the honor of purchasing livestock from, in my opinion, some of the best livestock producers in the country. We would not have been able to produce the high quality products that we had without such amazing livestock producers. I would like to thank all of the Lewright Meats team members who worked here over our 86 years in business. Without these individuals, we could never have produced the award winning products that we were so proud of. To each and every person that has worked for Lewright Meats, thank you for all of your hard work and loyalty. I am truly thankful for you. Lastly, I would like to thank my dad, Paul Bubeck, for the years of hard work and long hour in laying the foundation for the company we became. Dad didn't just run Lewright Meats, he Lived it every single day and was extremely proud to be able to support locally grown livestock in all of the surrounding areas and help bring it to your dinner table. Once again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for all your support of Lewright Meats, we could not have done it without all of you.

We are excited to announce 📣 🎉 the recent purchase of a new build here in Eagle Grove for the new Lewright Meats processing plant 🥓 🐷 🥩. We are thrilled that we have found a place in own home town of Eagle Grove and look forward to serving the community for years to come!!! We want to thank the community for all your support ❤️. This new 9000 + square foot facility will give us the ability to increase processing capacity by approximately 40 to 50 %. At this time we are not able to project a completion date as we are still working out supply chain details, but we will be keeping everyone informed as we move forward!
