In 1978, the Steele brothers took their beehives to California for almond pollination, and 45 years later, they are still doing it. Each year, we bring home some of the spoils, and now we decided to share them with you!

In 1978, the Steele brothers decided they would take their beekeeping to the next level and drove their beehives to sunny California. Our family continues to pollinate those almond orchards 40 years later!

We all laugh about those trips with dad and how we only ate fig newton's and oranges for lunch. We have real special memories together eating gas station food, and daring our siblings to jump in the unheated hotel pool that will always be tied to those trips. Love this picture of my dad and brother about to head out on one of those trips.
