We are incredibly disappointed to announce that tomorrow’s Easley Farmers Market has been canceled due to the weather forecast. While we always hope to gather together on Saturday mornings in Downtown Easley, the safety of our vendors, families, and community always comes first.
We know some may wonder why this decision has to be made so early. We closely monitor the 24-hour radar and forecast, and many of our vendors, especially our bakers and food vendors, need enough advance notice to properly prepare for the market. We want to be respectful of the time, ingredients, preparation, and expenses that go into getting ready for each Saturday.
Tomorrow was supposed to be our Memorial Day themed market, and we had planned activities focused on helping children understand the meaning behind Memorial Day and honoring the brave men and women who gave their lives serving our country and protecting our freedoms. ❤️🤍💙
Even though we will not be together at the market, we still wanted to share a few of the activities we had prepared for families to enjoy at home this weekend:

If your child would like to write a letter or draw a picture for a veteran or active-duty soldier, we would be honored to help get those delivered. Letters and drawings can be dropped off at:

While we are sad to miss this Saturday together, we hope everyone still takes a moment this weekend to remember and honor the heroes who sacrificed so much for our country.
