Well, Frankie didn’t do too shabby at his first fair 😂🐓

He brought 10 chickens and somehow came home with 9 first places, 1 second place, and Reserve Champion for his Frizzle. 🏆

And a big shoutout to Jake from Cooks Poultry, our chicken mentor and chicken guru 😂🐔

We’re still savoring summer here at Merryweather Farm ☀️🌿 The colors, the smells, the garden, and that warm sunshine… we’re not quite ready to let it go just yet.

BUT… we’re definitely starting to plan for autumn. 🍂

We have some fun things coming up, so make sure you check out the website for details and sign-ups for our Butter Making Workshop, Witch Hat Workshop, and of course, our yearly Christmas on the Farm photo sessions! 🎄📸

The farm stand is stocked with Felix’s Fire Cider, tallow products, goodies from the garden, and lots more — and elderberry syrup is coming VERY, very soon! 🫐

For now, we’re soaking up these last beautiful days of summer while getting excited for our favorite season ahead.

We have two fun fall workshops coming up at Merryweather Farm!

🎃 Witch Hat Decorating Workshop
October 14th at 4:30 PM
Create your own one-of-a-kind witch hat using ribbons, flowers, feathers and plenty of Halloween-inspired details. This workshop will be held outside on the farm while we enjoy the sunset and a fire.

🧈 Make Your Own Butter Workshop
November 4th at 5:00 PM
Learn how to make your own butter, try different butter flavors and take home your handmade butter with a fresh loaf of bread. We’ll also have some fireside time after the workshop.

🐓 We’re headed to the Chester Fair !

Frankie is SO excited to be showing 10 of his chickens at the Chester Fair this weekend! He’s been looking forward to this and can’t wait to have some of his feathered friends representing Merryweather Farm. ❤️

It’s that time of year… time to start thinking about those Christmas photos! 🎄📸

We’re excited to bring Christmas on the Farm Minis back to Merryweather Farm this November!

Because nothing says the holidays quite like dressing everyone up, trying to keep the kids clean, telling your husband to please just smile normally, and pretending the whole thing wasn’t complete chaos 30 seconds before the picture was taken. 😂

But somehow… those photos always end up being the ones you’re so glad you have. ❤️

We’ll have a few dates available this November for our Christmas on the Farm Minis — $150 and 10 photos, plus hot cocoa, a visit with the animals, and time to shop the farm stand.
