East Peoria Farmer’s Market
Since 2011, Fresh Friday has been celebrated in East Peoria during the summer months at the East Peoria Farmer’s Market. The market features locally produced items. There’s more than vegetables, fruits and baked goods. East Peoria Farmer’s Market items have included flowers, goat milk soaps, lotions and lip balms; flavored popcorn, hand-knitted alpaca products and yarn; wine; beef and pork meats, eggs, cheesecakes, vegetable plants, homemade pet accessories and treats, jewelry, crochet goods, perfume, massage oils, wreaths, diffuser jewelry for essential oils, decorated plates; unique bathroom items, and shell creations.
The market starts in June and runs through September, occurring from 4-7 p.m. Fridays in The Levee District retail area.

The East Peoria Farmer's Market, City of East Peoria, East Peoria Festival of Lights and East Peoria Fire Department social media site posts and comments containing any of the following forms of content are not allowed:
a. Comments not topically related to the particular social medium article being commented upon;
b. Comments in support of or opposition to political campaigns or ballot measures;
c. Profane language or content;
d. Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or mental disability or sexual orientation;
e. Sexual content or links to sexual content;
f. Solicitations of commerce;
g. Conduct or encouragement of illegal activity;
h. Information that may reasonably compromise the safety or security of the public or public systems;
i. Content that violates a legal ownership interest of any other party;
j. Personal attacks of any kind;
k. Personally identifiable medical information.
The City reserves the right to delete spam or abusive comments or any comments made in violation of the policy. Continued abuse of the policy will subject the user to a permanent ban.
