Lots of things popping up here in store! We've got a new line of delicious pasta sauces that just arrived today. Whether it's the rich Alfredo made with PDO Parmigiano Reggiano or the savory Olive & Pomodoro made with premium Italian tomatoes or one of the other varieties, they will pair beautifully with any of our pastas.

Yesterday I was fortunate enough to be invited for a tour of Lo Scafo at La Passarella. If you're not familiar, I'm talking about the former Next Door Burger Bar, now under new ownership, and heading in an exciting new direction. If you're a fan of hand made pasta from a scratch kitchen made fresh daily, you're gonna love Lo Scafo. The space is great, with a cozy lounge for drinks, and a bar and dining room that will be offering full menu service.

They are going to open in a couple weeks, and based on the agnolotti that I was treated to, it can't come soon enough! They do have a few positions open, so if you're looking for a spot in what promises to be a fantastic restaurant, reach out to Tim or Lauren for an interview.

After four unforgettable journeys through Italy, we’re thrilled to announce our fifth trip — and our very first time exploring the treasures of Northern Italy.

This 11‑day experience takes us from the rolling vineyards of Langhe to the sparkling lakes of Maggiore and Como… from the elegance of Torino and Milan to the alpine charm of Trento and the magic of Venice. It’s a journey filled with culture, history, food, and breathtaking landscapes — but for many of you, the real highlight will be the wine.

We’ll be visiting several of my favorite producers — producers I’ve personally fallen in love with — and tasting the wines that made me want to share Italy with all of you in the first place.

What do you need today? Pasta? Wine? Cheese? Cookies? We just got a delivery of fresh cookies from Big Al's Little Bakery, including her new lemon blueberry that is AMAZING!
We've brought in some spectacular wines recently, and stocked up on old favorites.

This morning I was one of a small group of folks who got to congratulate Larry at the ribbon cutting for his new shop at Cape Cod Knife Company. If you're not familiar, Larry is a 3rd generation knife sharpener who recently retired to Sandwich and has owned a new shop offering professional sharpening services.

If you have knives or tools in need of sharpening, feel free to reach out to Larry, or you can drop them off here at the store. Turn around time is usually 24-48 hours.
