We're excited to have Chris Corvasce joining us as our special Bingo host tomorrow, Friday, August 28th at 2:00 PM!

Chris is the owner of Chefs for Seniors Poconos & Lehigh Valley, bringing in-home personal chef services to seniors in the area, and he'll be bringing some delicious treats to share with our residents too!

Hello Monroe County neighbors! 👋

We're planning ahead for activities and events here at Shawnee Ridge, a 55+ independent living community, and we'd love to tap into the amazing local talent and businesses right here in our own backyard for 2027!

Do you know of (or run!) a senior-friendly activity, class, or presentation that could be brought in and hosted at our community? We're thinking along the lines of things like:

- Paint and sip or guided art classes
- Local artisan demos (pottery, jewelry making, floral arranging)
- Cooking or baking demonstrations w/tastings
- Music, dance, or live entertainment (magicians, comedian, karaoke host, etc.)
- Local history talks or storytelling
- Anything else fun, engaging, and senior-friendly!
