Longtime Easthampton resident, former employee here at the orchard, and family friend, Caleb Rodriguez, was shot and killed several days ago in Holyoke while moonlighting for Uber. He leaves behind his wife, Severina, and four exceptional children. This is tragic and unfair - a horrific case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I don't know how the family is going to make it, but they will. Please send some money to them if you can. They also need a good car if you have one - I have a mechanic that can do some work on it if necessary.

·The "Art in the Orchard" ArtCart is up and running at Park Hill Orchard! We offer guests with mobility challenges a chance to experience the entire sculpture trail without walking! The ArtCart can accommodate 5 people, including one wheelchair.

This Labor Day Weekend, we are offering runs at 1:30 on Saturday, 2:30 on Sunday, and 1:30 on Monday. None of the runs are full at this time. To make a reservation, please call the ArtCart phone at 413-923-8050. If you're interested, please don't wait -- it's going to be a gorgeous weekend.

On future weekends, we plan to offer runs on Friday afternoon, Saturday morning and afternoon, and Sunday afternoon.

Art In the Orchard is a walking sculpture trail which winds through our productive fruit gardens. The self-guided trail is about a half-mile long.
