Father's Day is this Sunday! And if you are looking for a gift that is actually worth giving, the Easton Farmers Market on Saturday morning is the place to start.
🎉
Here is the thing about dads: most of them do not want another tie.
But a bottle of small-batch Eastern Shore rum from Lyon Rum?
A wedge of beautifully crafted farmstead cheese from Dogwood Lane Guernseys?
A quart of Salters Chesapeake Gourmet's famous gazpacho?
A tart from Gingersnap Farm that disappears before Sunday dinner is over?

These are gifts that actually get used and they come from people who made them right here on the Shore.

Come shop for dad this Saturday, June 20th from 8am to noon at 114-126 N. Harrison Street in Easton, MD.

This is what a sold out Saturday looks like. 🍞
Those empty tables at the Evergrain Bread Company booth tell the whole story. If you got there early enough yesterday, you know the magic. If you arrived after 10am hoping for a sun bun, well, now you know for next time. The bread guy waits for no one.

Yesterday's market was everything a summer Saturday should be. Hot, sunny, and packed with people who came out to shop, eat, and soak up a beautiful June morning.

First of the season sweet corn showed up at CD Produce, which is genuinely exciting news for anyone who has been waiting. Honeybee Flower Farm had colorful lilies that were absolutely stunning. And Williwaw Farm brought outstanding cauliflower alongside all their other certified organic produce.

It was a good one. Thank you to everyone who came out.
We will all be back next Saturday, June 20th and with Father's Day weekend on the horizon, it is going to be another great morning.

Tomorrow morning, let us make the case for the protein side of your market haul. 🐟
The Eastern Shore has always been seafood country, and this Saturday both Madison Bay Seafood and Alaskawild Seafoods will be at the market with fresh catch. If you have never picked up fish or crab at the market and cooked it the same day, it is one of those simple summer pleasures worth trying at least once.

On the land side: Elysium Farm will have their naturally fed, medicine-free pork raised outdoors with the best variety of cuts on the Shore.
Spring Branch Farms will have their pasture-raised Angus beef and chicken, raised by a family operation using sustainable practices on Eastern Shore land they have farmed for generations.
Plus Cottingham Farm will also have eggs and pork from their pastured, organic-fed animals available.

This is what it means to know where your food comes from.

Live music with Kat Parsons starts at 10am. Free parking off Brewer's Lane and on the corner of Washington and Bay Street.

Saturday June 13th from 8am to noon at 114-126 N. Harrison Street in Easton, MD.

It is almost market time and this Saturday at 10am we are welcoming a truly special performer to the Easton Farmers Market. 🎵
Kat Parsons is a singer-songwriter born in Vienna and raised in a musical family right here in Maryland. She came up harmonizing to the chime of the family grandfather clock, which hints at the kind of musician she grew up to be. Her voice has been described as lyrical, vibrant, gutsy, and warm, and Entertainment World once said her vocals stand up against Norah Jones. She has performed on four continents, been featured in Billboard and the Boston Globe, and her music is the kind that makes you feel like she is singing specifically about your life.

Her songwriting is deeply honest, grounded in real experience, full of wondering, and built for connection. This is not background music. This is the kind of performance that makes you stop, put down your blueberries, and just listen for a while.

Also at the market:
🧀 Dogwood Lane Guernseys will have their farmstead cheeses
🍅 Salters Chesapeake Gourmet will have their homemade soups and their divine gazpacho
🍫Gingersnap Farm will have their famous treats including quiches and brownies
🥧 T's Divine Sweets will be there for something to finish the morning on a sweet note. We suggest picking up a pie, they have so many flavors to choose from but they are all delicious.

Swing by this Saturday, June 13th from 8am to noon at 114-126 N. Harrison Street in Easton, MD.

A few things happening at the market right now that are worth paying attention to.
🧄 First: garlic scapes. Quarter Acre Farm has been bringing them for their entire short season and this may genuinely be the last week. Also they have a delectable garlic scape pesto available by the container to take home.If you are a garlic lover and you have been meaning to grab some, this Saturday is the day. They are most likely gone until next year after this.

🫐 Second: blueberries have arrived. CD Produce has been spotted with fresh local blueberries, and Eastern Shore blueberry season is one of those fleeting, wonderful things worth stocking up on while you can.

🟡 Third: summer squash is here. Triangle Acres is bringing yellow squash and zucchini, which means summer is no longer just a forecast. It is officially on your dinner plate.

🥬 And rounding out the produce lineup: Capitola Farm with their baby greens and microgreens, plus Green View Hydroponics with their crisp lettuces and herbs.

We hope you can grab some of these seasonal delights this Saturday, June 13th from 8am to noon at 114-126 N. Harrison Street, in Easton, MD.

If you missed the peonies yesterday, we are a little sorry to tell you this. 🌸
Honeybee Flower Farm had the most stunning peony bouquets at the market yesterday and they went fast. Peonies have a short and glorious season, and watching people carry those big, lush blooms through the market was honestly one of the highlights of what turned out to be the busiest market day of the 2026 season so far.

Vendors were buzzing about the crowd. The parking lot was full, the energy was high, and a beautiful hot June Saturday brought out everyone who had been waiting for that perfect summer market morning.

If you were there, you know. If you were not bummer, Honeybee Flower Farm will be back, and so will we on Saturday, June 13th from 8am to noon.
