Let's talk about what you are eating this weekend. 🍅
Because right now at the Easton Farmers Market we are living in that sweet spot where summer and fall show up at the same time. Quarter Acre Farm is bringing butternut squash, hello fall, and this Saturday they are also serving their Heirloom Tomato Garlic Scape Pesto Quesadilla. That is summer reminding us it is still here.

🌻 Vintage Family Farms will have stunning late-season cut flower arrangements fresh from their fields in Hurlock.
🍁 AGreenerSide will have fun fall produce and flowers.
🌶️ Harrington's Nursery will have potatoes, hot peppers, cucumbers, and seedlings because September is still a great time to plant your garden.

Yesterday was a beautiful September Saturday at the Easton Farmers Market. Perfect weather, every vendor booth full, and the most stunning display of fall goods we have seen at the market all season.

Pumpkins. Winter squash. Mums. Fall decor. The market is transitioning from summer to fall and it is gorgeous.

We will be honest with you though, yesterday was quieter than we expected after the incredible energy of Labor Day weekend. The customers who came out made great purchases and every vendor was grateful for them. But we noticed the difference, and we think the community did too.

Here is the thing about a farmers market: every Saturday that a vendor sets up, they have already invested their entire week. The growing, the harvesting, the baking, the making: all of it happens before you ever see a tent go up. When the parking lot is quiet, that work does not disappear. It just goes home unsold.

We are not asking for sympathy. We are asking you to share part of your Saturdays with us. 😄 Come back next weekend, September 19th, and bring a friend. The market is at its most beautiful right now and these vendors deserve a bustling crowd. 🍂

Fall is starting to show up at the Easton Farmers Market. 🎃
Aren’t those soft plush pumpkins and pumpkin pillows the coziest you have ever seen?
That is Madison's Market’s booth and they are at the market this morning with their farm-inspired handmade goods that make your home feel like autumn arrived exactly on time.

And the farm side is following suit. Quarter Acre Farm is bringing the first butternut squash of the season this morning, a sure sign that fall is more than just a feeling.

But summer is not done yet you can get tomatoes, corn, and late-summer vegetables from Triangle Acres. Baby greens and microgreens from Capitola Farm. Mediterranean olive oils and marinated olives from Our Greek Market. Farmstead cheeses from Dogwood Lane Guernseys. And small-batch Eastern Shore rum from Lyon Rum.

Michael Kelly takes the stage at 10am and the market goes until noon.

Happy Labor Day! Today we rest, reflect, and celebrate the hard work that makes everything possible including the farmers, bakers, watermen, and makers who show up at the Easton Farmers Market every Saturday morning, rain or shine, all year long.

Dolly Parton said it best: "Don't get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life."

Settling in for a Sunday evening and still thinking about yesterday.
🌿
What a market on Labor Day weekend. Vendors told us it was the busiest Saturday of the entire 2026 season, and yet somehow it never felt crowded. Just a long, beautiful, perfectly paced morning with the kind of energy that makes everyone feel glad they showed up. Regulars doing their Saturday thing, new faces finding their new favorite spots, and every vendor grateful beyond words for the community that came out.

If you grabbed sun buns from Evergrain before they sold out, way to show up early. If you picked up fresh hydroponic greens and herbs from Green View Hydroponics for a long weekend salad, we know it is delicious. And if you simply came to stroll through the market and visit every booth, thank you for making it what it was.

To every customer who came out on Labor Day weekend we want to send you a big thank you from every single vendor. It meant everything. We will be back next Saturday, September 12th.
