Island Market will close early at 5 PM this Sunday so our team can gather for our annual Employee Summer Picnic!

It's a chance to celebrate and thank our crew for all their hard work keeping Island Market running smoothly through another busy summer season.

In the spirit of Back-to-School, today's is a glimpse of the Deer Harbor Schoolhouse as it appeared in 1908 😯! This two-room schoolhouse was constructed in 1905, and it served children from Double, Crane and McConnell Islands.

Today we look back at the Ben Harrison farm in 1915 Crow Valley-- Turtleback Mountain is in the distance. The land was then operated by the Coffelt family. It's now a part of the San Juan County Landbank, and home to the wonderful Lum Farm LLC.
