Stoney Field Farm Stoney Field Farms We are an organic farm located in beautiful Ogden Valley at the base of the Wasatch mountains outside of Ogden Utah.

In the growing season we are a self-pick farm that provides a wide variety of organic veggies such as tomatoes, peas, beans, potatoes, garlic and many other varieties of vegetables. We have been in business since 2006 and have established ourselves in our community and in the local restaurants in Ogden. The farm also provide vegetables for the local farmers market ie..Ogden Valley Farmers Market.

The soil has been cleared and turned. Plus rows are mounded.
The garlic has been orderly categorized then gently layed to rest in the rich and vigorating soil for the winter and spring months. Its gestation will be 9 full months. Just like a baby. At which time we will unearth them reorganize them. Hang to dry then cut and clean them organizing as well. Repeat planting once again. Generation after generation. Refining and rebuilding. Humanly possible.

The raspberries are rippening each day.
They will be available to purchase on Thursday at the Farmers Market in Eden.
Mixed geeens. Dill. Eggs and bottled fruits.
Look for you there.
Mother Nature makes oprotunities for us to grow food for example. That we may eat abundantly.
With pure nourishment.
Knowing what we are digesting into our bodies.
Palete food I refer to it daily as I enjoy the process of cultivation.

Boy do I love being conncted to the earth.
Dirty digging. Solstice in silence.
Everyday is a different day on the farm.
The market is In Eden on thursdays 5:30 til dusk.
Starting out slow as the harvest hasn't bountifies thus far.

The fluffy white snow lays over the enriched, tilled soil on the farm.
It rests under this snowy blanket as it will need to be for the up and coming spring of 2013. New year. New ideas. New crops. New friends to meet and work with as we learn and grow what Mother Nature intended us to learn. We cant grow in mind and body successfully without good nutrition.Ah! Thus we have the cycle of life. Amen.

Its winter but no snow as of yet. The dirt is visable and sort of calling me to go there although I am still resting from the 2011 season. It will be here in 2012 soon enough I guess.
