After much thought, we’ve decided to close Well Nourished Market for now. This chapter has taught us so much about what it means to bring local food to our Eden community, and we’re incredibly grateful for your support along the way.

While this space is coming to a close, we’re not saying goodbye for good. We’re dreaming up new ways to keep the spirit of Well Nourished Market alive—possibly in a new location with a fresh approach. 🌱

✨We have pasture raised pork fat available for you to render!✨

This is not just any pork fat, these pigs were rotated on pasture in the sunshine. A big part of their diet was pasture. Why does this matter?

Grass-fed or pasture-raised pork fat generally has a more favorable fatty acid profile compared to conventional pork, with higher levels of beneficial omega-3 fatty acids and lower levels of omega-6 fatty acids. This translates to a lower omega-6 to omega-3 ratio, which is associated with reduced inflammation and better heart health. Pastured pork also tends to be higher in certain vitamins and minerals, like Vitamin D and Vitamin E, and may contain more antioxidants.
