Honeysuckle Oyster Farm is looking for a positive, hard-working individual who is able to assist in oyster farm operations on Katama Bay, Martha's Vineyard.

Daily oyster farm duties require heavy lifting (50lbs+) and include activities such as: cleaning and grading oysters, preparing oysters for market, pressure washing, assisting with gear, boat and overall farm maintenance, etc. Individual will also drive deliveries of the day's harvest to local restaurants.

A positive attitude and willingness to learn are a must! Katama Bay is a beautiful place to work and summer swims at lunch don't get any better! Work available May-October.

Join us this Friday for our 2nd Annual Romancing the Oyster event, where you'll meet five local oyster farmers & enjoy a cocktail style sampling of oyster dishes and a traditional raw bar.

Today we would like to introduce, Nic Turner of Honeysuckle Oyster Farm - Nic's favorite way to eat oysters, other than raw? "Throw them on the grill in their shell with a dab of butter, fresh herbs, and a little pepper."
