Ingrid’s Story
Born and raised in Nicaragua, Ingrid grew up surrounded by the sights, smells, and flavors of bustling local markets and family farms. From an early age, she learned the value of fresh, wholesome food and the joy of sharing it with others—a lesson that would shape her life and career.
In 2011, Ingrid brought that passion to Florida, starting out small: selling fresh fruits and vegetables directly from her truck. With determination and a love for her craft, she soon opened her first store on Park Avenue in Edgewater and became a regular at the New Smyrna Beach Farmers Market. What started as a humble endeavor has since grown into a thriving business built on quality, care, and strong community ties.
Every week, Ingrid hand-selects varieties of fresh produce from local farms, ensuring her customers receive only the best. She also grows her own garlic and raises chickens that produce farm-fresh eggs, adding a personal, homegrown touch to her market offerings. Ingrid doesn’t just sell food—she listens to her community, understands what families need, and brings exactly what will nourish them most. But Ingrid’s story is about more than produce—it’s about connection.
Deeply involved in her community, she supports local farmers, encourages sustainable practices, and creates a true farm-to-table experience for everyone she serves. Each vegetable, each bunch of garlic, each egg reflects not only the care and quality that Ingrid is known for, but also her dedication to the people and places around her. From her first truck in 2011 to the bustling market stalls today, Ingrid’s journey is a testament to passion, perseverance, and love—for her craft, her heritage, and her community.
Through every season, she continues to bring families together with fresh, local, and thoughtfully sourced ingredients, keeping the spirit of her Nicaraguan roots alive in every bite.
