We are a meat locker with a wide variety of homemade sausages, cheese, wine, spices, and much more in our retail area. Other services we offer include custom beef and pork processing, venison processing, and fundraising.

You read that right… they’re here—for a limited time!

Inspired by the creativity of the Ed-Co 3rd grade class, we’re excited to introduce our brand new S’mores Brat—now in the case at Edgewood Locker, and at quite a few of our retailers!

We took a fun idea and turned it into something real by bringing together the flavors of chocolate, marshmallow, and graham cracker with our signature brat. Because sometimes the best ideas come from kids who aren’t afraid to think outside the box.

A big thank you to the Ed-Co 3rd graders for the inspiration—we hope you’re as excited as we are to see (and taste!) your idea come to life.

These are the last available spots for the year unless there are cancellations! Cancellations do happen, so don't hesitate to reach out if you want a slot later in the year!

If you don't have your own cattle or hogs, check out our Local Producers pages to find local producers, or reach out to us and we'll take care of that part.

Did you know that Backbone State Park is Iowa's FIRST state park? Backbone is less than ten miles from the Edgewood Locker. Be sure to make the trip there this summer to enjoy all that it offers, and while you're at Backbone Lake, stop at Backbone Concessions LLC to pick up some Edgewood Locker products! They are our newest retailer!

Looking forward to grilling this spring and summer? Do you just enjoy eating premium beef that's raised and processed right here in Northeast Iowa?

We're stocking quarters of locally raised USDA inspected beef in our freezer and making them available for sale to the general public.

There are currently six quarters available. Once they're sold, we likely won't offer any again until 2027.

Please note that we compared the cost of buying beef this way vs. buying at the local supermarket, and the analysis shows you'll save over $400 compared to retail prices at the grocery store and at least $150 compared to their current sale prices. Not to mention the fact that these quarters we're selling are locally raised, locally processed, and superb quality!

Reserve your quarter now. There are only six available in the freezer and beef prices are expected to continue to go up.

Hey Oelwein area! Norby's in Oelwein is our newest retailer! They just received an order yesterday. Next time you're there picking up the necessities, pick up a package of Edgewood Locker product too!
