I didn’t go to South Louisiana this week because I got word that the first pecans were falling!! I picked up 600 # of Pawnee blown and picked half’s. I’m vacuum packing as many as I can before heading to Shreveport.

I’ll be in Shreveport tonight to meet a truck and I’ll have shrimp 🍤 and oysters 🦪 for the week!

I won’t have red beans, rice or French bread 🥖 until next week.

I just received some local honey from Metheny Farms. I can’t wait to try it! We have fresh halibut and bluefin tuna in the cooler!!

I ran across a small hoard of real Magnalite pots and pans a few weeks ago. Over the next couple of weeks I will be restoring them and selling them at the shop. I’ll post them individually on Facebook as soon as I get them ready to sell. Price will vary according to condition.
