Vanilla beans are in! They will need picked up ASAP! We will be in Effingham at the farmstand tomorrow afternoon! Cowden in the morning & Ramsey I can leave on the stand or meet! Please let me know what works for you!

They will need to be vacuumed sealed if not using right away!

Here is the recipe for homemade vanilla extract:
1oz vanilla beans & 8oz alcohol
(vodka is recommended 70-100 proof)
Slit beans & stick in alcohol covering beans then let sit for at least 6weeks minimum. 6-12months for best results!

Extended hours today! We will be here most of the evening doing things around the stand so feel free to stop on by & bring the kiddos to get a pumpkin!

Only a couple more weeks left of fresh produce & we have stocked up on fresh tomatoes! Also have some new pumpkins, mini gourds, & mini pumpkins in!

We still have some big stemmed pumpkins left!
