Our famous oatmeal cream pies will be available tomorrow at Blessed of Elba to support sweet Cate! Make sure to go by and get a tea and a sweet treat!
Cate is 13 years old and has the biggest, most tender heart. She loves her hometown of Elba, being an Elba Tiger, and spending time with her family and friends. If you know Cate, you know she’s the kind of person who makes sure everyone else is taken care of—always sharing snacks and thinking of others first.
When Cate was just 1 year old, she was diagnosed with right-sided hemiplegia, a form of cerebral palsy caused by a stroke she suffered in utero. This left her with severe weakness in her right hand and mild weakness in her right arm and leg. Since she was 9 months old, she has worked tirelessly in therapy—traveling back and forth to Dothan, Ozark, and Birmingham—doing everything possible to grow stronger.
This summer, Cate has been given an incredible opportunity. She has been accepted into a robotic therapy research program in Fort Worth, Texas, where she will undergo daily therapy sessions for three weeks. Our hope is that this specialized therapy will help improve her strength, coordination, and ability to do everyday activities—like playing her trumpet and using both hands together.
To help support Cate on this journey, we are launching a special loaded whipped tea:
🎡 Cate’s Carnival 🎡
Strawberry • Cotton Candy • Blue Raspberry • Sweet Cream
✨ Available Friday & Saturday ONLY ✨
This drink is fun, vibrant, and full of flavor—just like Cate.
A portion of all proceeds will go directly toward her travel expenses as she heads to Texas for therapy.
If you’re not able to stop by, you can still support by sharing this post and keeping Cate in your prayers.
Thank you for loving on Cate and helping us rally around her ❤️
