Xavier’s goal when he gets a bigger steer that he hasn’t raised completely is to be able to get in the pen and hand feed them.

We processed most of our meat birds…41 Cornish Cross …284 lbs of chicken for our freezer..our heaviest bird after process was 9.64 lbs..they were big!!

This may not be for everyone and it’s alot of work but the girls & Xavier worked hard for 8wks & they are proud of their work

Words can not express how proud I am of these kids…raising & processing their own birds

We have some more to do in a few wks but not as many!
