I am thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership for the upcoming year! I have teamed up with a wonderful Amish craftsman who will be handmaking all of my woodenware. From traditional finger-jointed boxes that are meticulously glued and screwed together to all accompanying hive equipment, the craftsmanship is truly second to none. Best of all, my prices will remain the sameโthe product just got significantly better. If you have been looking for an excuse to visit Elizabeth, this is it: the highest quality hive equipment in the area at the lowest prices. Rolling out in 2027.

*Watch my page for the official pre-order post starting in LATE NOVEMBER / EARLY DECEMBER for my high-performing Saskatraz 5-frame nucs! I am aiming to offer over 50 nucs, with pickup windows available for early spring (April) and mid-spring (mid-May)weather permitting. Please note that these will sell out quickly!
*Saskatraz bees are exceptionalโthey brood up rapidly, the queens are absolute laying machines, and their genetic mite resistance is well-proven. I am incredibly happy with my switch to this stock.
* Pricing: $200 per nuc (Requires a 50% deposit down upon ordering).
* Convenience: Nucs will come directly in a ProNuc or Jester box. Itโs a simple "pick up and go" process with no box switching required this year.
* Queens: I am focusing exclusively on Saskatraz bees and queens. After overcoming some incubator ant challenges last season, the issue has been completely resolved. I anticipate a steady supply of queens this year, available for pickup only to ensure premium quality and eliminate the risks of mail order.

*This year, I am also introducing 6-frame nucs and complete hive systems. After testing this setup, Iโve found it to be the perfect alternative to traditional 8-frame equipment. And replacement to the 5 frame box. I will carry the 10 Frame, 8 Frame, now the 6 Frame.
*These 6-frame hives build up incredibly fast. Once established, you simply add a second deep box followed by your honey supers. With just two or three supers, you get 18 frames of honey. Because a full deep box weighs only around 55 lbs and the supers weigh around 20 lbs, this setup is much easier to manage. Requiring only 12 inches of horizontal space, this system is an absolute game-changer for anyone dealing with back trouble, older beekeepers, or anyone who struggles with heavy lifting but wants to keep enjoying their passion. They will over winter.
*As a nuc box, it perfectly accommodates 5 frames of bees and a frame feeder.

*Letโs hope for a cooperative, resource-rich season ahead! Thank you all so much for your incredible support throughout 2026. That's all I have for now, it's been a different year, weather wise. But, you do what you can to adjust. Remember the basics; Numbers (lots of bees), Mite control( only healthy bees live), Lots of food( a hungry bee is a dead bee). Those three things will get you through the winter. Before I jump into next year, let's finish this season strong. Hereโs hoping for a fantastic fall honey flow!
