German-speaking settlers brought versions of the recipe to southeastern Pennsylvania, mixing pork, grain, and seasoning into something that could be sliced, fried, and stretched across several meals. Some people grew up loving it crispy beside eggs and toast. Good afternoon, The Spot Hometown Deli friends! The team at The Spot would like to take this opportunity to send a salute of honor and remembrance of those who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect us and to preserve the American Dream!

We will have SPECIAL HOURS on Monday, 5/25/26, for Memorial Day. We will be here at the deli from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM for breakfast before the American Legion's Memorial Day parade and for an early lunch before you go out for your holiday plans.

This is just a friendly reminder that we do have OUTDOOR SEATING available for you to enjoy your Classic Club sandwich or homemade Mac & Cheese Monday lunch in the sunshine!
