Fowl Honey

Fowl Honey First year chicken/duck carer. I dont own them, they own me, I just care for them. I want to share their love with everyone else.

Hopefully I'll be getting bees next spring and sharing honey with everyone. For now I wanna share my joy for fowl birds. Accidentally got into chickens when one of my dad's RIR needed a home after being injured and rejected by her flock. FF to today and I am now hatching my own and experimenting with cross breeds. My ultimate goal is to keep the Leghorn egg laying but with multiple colors.

Rip Genzlinger, my little guinea. Stray dogs are a menace. I've tried to befriend the dog that wanders out here but he ain't havin it. This did it for me though. That dog is going to the shelter tomorrow. Hopefully he'll get a good home.

So, I don't like the wooden nest boxes at a certain store nor did I want to use plastic, there's enough out there, so I repurposed an old shelf and all my ladies love it! Even my duck uses it. Her egg is on the far left. Old dog kennels work great too.
