That’s it. That’s all I’m sharing right now.

This little hole in the wall.

This little hole in the wall that became the opening to all of the things I’ve known like the air I breathe the Lord has been leading me too.

This little hole is a lot like our walk with the Lord. We don’t get the whole picture. We get one small piece at a time. We get a glimpse of what He’s doing. Just enough to keep us edging forward. But also just enough to keep our eyes focused on Him.

When we lose that focus, when we look away…we start to drowned. Remember Simon Peter.

This little hole was busted wide open tonight and the tears came. Not out of fear. Not out of worry. Out of pure acknowledgement by a God who sees me, and loves me and has led me to this very point.

But for tonight I am just leaving you all with this little hole…and hopefully some words to ponder on for yourself.

What hole has the Lord given you? What small glimpse is He showing you? Are you willing to bust through it?

Because I did. And I did it surrounded by a building full of people there to help make this entire thing possible…because I matter to them. And they let me shed my tears and just be in that moment knowing full well everything it meant to me.

Elkhart…I am so thankful to be here and I absolutely cannot wait for y’all to see all the things we have planned for the rest of this year!

From the kindest most thoughtful reminder left at our door…to a parking lot full of vehicles and the back of this store full of men believing in this store enough to show up on a hot and sticky July afternoon…

Not to mention the amount of prayers and well wishes and the financial gifts that have been sent our way.

Y’all have no idea how much good y’all have done for my soul. Each of you have been a vessel the Lord has used, please know that.

The last 3 days have been a lot and I for those that have given financially that was completely unexpected and will be paid forward this Christmas. We are keeping up with every gift.

We could use your prayers.

As many of you know, we’ve been in the middle of preparing for our next chapter here at The Barn & Basket Market. Today we’ve run into an unexpected issue that needs to be worked out.

We’re trusting the Lord completely. He has been faithful every step of this journey, and we know He is not surprised by what we’re facing. We’re asking for wisdom, favor, the right people to feel led, and a clear path forward.

If you would take a moment today to pray for our team, our contractors, and for this situation to be resolved quickly, we would be so grateful.

Thank you for standing with us, encouraging us, and covering this place in prayer. We truly believe God is writing this story, and we’re trusting Him with every chapter.

Do they feel like they have let you down by being human?

Nope.

Do they worry about how their inconvenience MIGHT inconvenience you?

Not likely.

Do they know your face? Your name? Your children …or your mama and daddy?

Don’t think so.

We do!
We care!

I will NOT be at the Palestine Farmers Market tomorrow! My body is not cooperating right now, I’m having a bad MS flare 😒. It makes my feet not want to stay under my body 🤦🏻‍♀️, among a bunch of other not so fun things!
But today and tomorrow you can run over to The Barn & Basket Market and grab a bunch of my products ON SALE before they close for 2 weeks!!! So make sure to go stock up!! LOTS of other sales happening in store as well!!

Sitting in the floor of an almost empty store…feeling all the emotions.

I don’t think even I have the vocabulary to explain just what the last 7.5 months have been…meant…shown. And that’s saying a lot.

I have seen God move in the small. I have seen Him move in the big. I have seen where He was moving 4 years ago. I have seen where He was moving just 5 mins ago.

His hands are all over this entire business. He has blessed me in ways that are so beyond financial that the dollar amount doesn’t even compare.

And now I sit here after an afternoon of tears, joy, excitement and prayer knowing that this next phase is going to be even further beyond my wildest dreams.

My prayer is and will always be that I remain out of the way and that the Lord is seen in all we do, and by every customer we meet.

We will give some sneak peaks along the way…you will see changes to the exterior…but you will have to wait until August 3 for the full reveal!
