This Saturday we're trying something new: a group coffee tasting built around James Hoffmann's "Global Fermentation Tasting" video. We'll taste through four distinctly processed coffees from The Fermentation Project together, cup for cup, right along with the video. I sourced a coffee kit so we will be tasting the same coffee as James.

📅 Saturday, Oct 17 — 9 AM & 12PM
📍 Fig Tree Market, Ellettsville
🆓 Free · 8 spots only per session (RSVP required)

This is a watch-along we put together ourselves, unaffiliated with James Hoffmann. As we have an extremely limited supply of this coffee, there are only a few spots available. Signup Here:

There’s more happening at Fig Tree Market in downtown Ellettsville, with sea glass art and two different weekly yoga classes.

Join local artist Lynn Jamieson for a Sea Glass Art Class! Create your own framed piece to take home, with all materials provided and no experience needed. Bring a friend and enjoy some time making something together.

We’re also expanding yoga with Cat Michie to two evenings, each with a different pace:

• Tuesdays: Vinyasa Yoga, an active flow connecting breath and movement to build strength and balance.

• Thursdays: Restorative Yoga, a slow, gentle practice with supported poses, time to rest, and optional tea.

MONROE COUNTY FALL FESTIVAL PARADE INFORMATION

***PLEASE SHARE***

Starting at approximately 8:30 AM on Saturday, September 12, 2026, the Ellettsville Police Department will close Temperance Street between the east and west splits for the Monroe County Fall Festival Parade. Main Street will become a two-way street during this time. Signage and cones will be in place to direct motorists, as well as several officers directing traffic.

Sale Street will be closed between Temperance Street and Vine Street. Vine Street will remain open to eastbound and westbound traffic.

Motorists traveling north on Sale Street and Matthews Drive from Vine Street will be forced to turn right (east) towards Bloomington. Motorists traveling south on Matthews Drive from McNeely Street will be forced to turn right (west) towards Spencer. To go the opposite direction motorists must go past the traffic pattern and turn around (i.e. if a motorist is traveling north on Sale Street from Vine Street and needs to go to Spencer the motorist will need to travel past Hartstrait Road, turn around, and will be able to travel west).

The parade will start at approximately 10:00 AM. The parade will travel north on Edgewood Drive from Edgewood High School to Temperance Street. The parade will then travel east on Temperance Street. The parade will end at Paul Street. Larger vehicles in the parade will continue east on Temperance Street at the driver's discretion. Smaller vehicles in the parade can turn south on Paul Street and travel to Ritter Street and then turn west on Ritter Street to continue to Sale Street.

ALTERNATE ROUTES FOR ACCESS TO STREETS SOUTH OF TEMPERANCE STREET

Motorists coming from the west (traveling east towards Bloomington) can turn right (west) onto Ridge Springs Lane and travel to Sycamore Drive then turn south onto Sycamore Drive and continue to Reeves Road/Sale Street.

Motorists coming from the east (traveling west towards Spencer) can turn left (south) onto Hartstrait Road, travel to Ratliff Road and turn right (west), travel to Thomas Road and turn right (north), and continue to Reeves Road/Sale Street.
