We are a few weeks from the end of our first tomato crop! In the last few months we have sold every tomato we have grown. To have such great restaurants and chefs that love our tomatoes makes us so excited for our next growing cycle!
We will be turning over the greenhouse in the next few weeks to grow other vegetables and edible flowers until we start our next tomato crop in August.
So far we plan to grow cucumbers, jalapeños, strawberries, and watermelon. Also, tasty and nutritious edible flowers which will be nasturtiums, lavender, and marigolds.
We have nasturtiums being sold now and the taste is out of this world not to mention they smell amazing too! Edible flowers are great for everything. They add taste and beauty to any dish and they add a wonderful flare and flavor to your cocktails too!

Starting to harvest our Cherry Tomatoes, & 1st cucumbers are ready for picking. Still waiting on our big juicy Big Dena tomatoes! The first clusters are turning darker green which is the step before they turn to red. 🤞🏻I’m thinking we will see some red ones late next week. I don’t mind waiting, Bc they are going not be sooo worth the wait!! I strung our 5 Watermelon plants have along the strings and they have little baby watermelons growing up the vine. And we so far have 1 nice looking pumpkin. The pumpkins and watermelons are for fun, just to see what we can grow. We are providing the perfect atmosphere for growing tomatoes, but many other types of plants can be grown under the same conditions and with the same nutrient balance that we are feeding the tomatoes. Enjoy the pictures. Hope to have many more in the next week or 2. 👍

Exhaust fans and air flow vents put in! Also got our runoff water reservoirs installed. We are hoping to use the runoff nutrient rich water to irrigate ornamental plants and other veggie varieties. (Hopeful for a small strawberry patch in the near future🤞🏻🤤)

8:00am fencing this morning. Our sweet boys are too good at escaping. Caught them out by the highway now 2 days in a row. Adding more fencing deeper into the water. With so little rain lately the ponds are getting low and they are able to get around the sunken fences that are already up. I think this will solve our problem though. 🤞🏻

Propane tank delivered and the 2 head houses are complete! 🤗 I can already taste those delicious veggies!!! 🍅🥒
