Tomorrow will be a hot one, so come out early, grab a cold drink, fill your bags with fresh produce, baked goods, meats, pantry favorites — and support the vendors who will be here and ready for you! We’ve got shaded seating and cooling misters, too.

Meet Kemal, owner of Thrive Mushrooms. This is Thrive’s first season at Elmhurst Farmers Market, and if mushrooms or mushroom products are new to you, this week is a great time to stop by. Ask about their fresh mushrooms, tinctures, and teas — how to use them and easy ways to add them to your meals.

Our vendors “thrive” when shoppers enjoy what they bring. Stop by Thrive’s booth, meet the team, and try something new!
Find us at 149 W. Brush Hill Rd, Wednesdays, from 7am-1pm, June-October.

National Farmers Market Week continues—and today, we’re celebrating the volunteers who help make Elmhurst Farmers Market possible each Wednesday! 💚

Our volunteers give their time to make everything run smoothly. From helping with vendor arrival and cleaning up after the market — to welcoming shoppers, and creating the community that makes Elmhurst Farmers Market special.

They also run our Tommie Tomato kids’ activity, giving our youngest visitors a fun way to explore the market each week. 🍅

Also, a big thanks to Elmhurst Patch for featuring Elmhurst Farmers Market and sharing the story of our vendors, volunteers, and the community that supports our market.

🥬There’s always something at Elmhurst Farmers Market that makes you stop and ask, “What is that—and how do I use it?” 🫚

🥦 Alongside familiar favorites like broccoli, green beans, potatoes, and zucchini, our growers bring vegetables you may not see in grocery aisles—striped eggplant, cranberry beans, garlic scapes, fennel, and whatever else is ready to harvest that week.

That’s one of the best parts of shopping at a true farmers’ market: the person who grew it is here to tell you what it tastes like, how to prepare it, and what they would make with it.

Come with a shopping list but leave a little room in your bag for something new to try.

Wednesdays, 7 a.m.–1 p.m. 149 W. Brush Hill Rd, June–October
