Had an exciting afternoon, caught and transferred my first solo swarm. Usually have Tim to help but he was at work, all went smoothly and was able to get them boxed,home and in the bee yard by myself without any issues. Feeling pretty proud 😁🐝

Finally a beautiful warm day! This is exactly what the bees have been waiting for! I was happy to see a lot of bees flying! Have you heard the saying “don’t eat the yellow snow?” Well that definitely applies to bees 🐝 they don’t like to p**p inside their hives so they go on cleansing flights when the weather warms. Well there is yellow snow everywhere 🤣😂💩 even on my hoodie 🤦‍♀️but I’m sure the bee feel better 😝

January 8th and the bees 🐝 think it’s spring! All hives are active and have a good amount of bees, praying they still look this good in a few months 🤞
