With over 92% of Minnesota experiencing abnormally dry to exceptional drought conditions, the situation has worsened significantly in recent weeks. Farmers across various counties, including Pine, Stearns, Dakota, Goodhue, and Itasca, are grappling with crop failures and reduced yields. Despite the difficulties, farmers remain determined, resorting to innovative methods and seeking support for irrigation systems and infrastructure. Community support and buying local produce are crucial in sustaining these farmers during this challenging period.
