🍑 Welcome to Grandma Jo's Plaza Farm Store! 🌳
If you've noticed a few more posts lately, there's a good reason...
For years, Grandma Jo and Grandpa Bryan have been busy doing what they love most—farming. They've spent decades growing fruit and vegetables, tending the orchards and their giant garden, helping customers, and doing the everyday work it takes to keep a family farm thriving. Social media has never really been their thing!
So now, the next generation is helping tell the story of the farm—helping share what's happening in the orchards and gardens, what's fresh each week, and introducing the wonderful people who have dedicated their lives to growing food for our community.
We thought this would be the perfect time to introduce the heart of Grandma Jo's Plaza Farm Store.
❤️ Meet Grandma Jo and Grandpa Bryan.
Grandma Jo's Plaza Farm Store is a real, working family farm located just outside Emmett, Idaho. Our family has been farming this land for nearly a century, and we're proud to continue that tradition today.
Grandma Jo and Grandpa Bryan, both in their 70s, still run the farm every single day. Along with a few helpers and grandkids during the busy summer months, they're the ones changing irrigation water, walking the orchards, tending the giant garden, checking what's ripe, picking fruit and vegetables at just the right time, stocking the farm stand, greeting customers, and doing the countless jobs it takes to keep a working family farm going.
This isn't produce brought in from somewhere else. It's fruit and vegetables grown right here on our family farm.
One thing we've learned over the years is that Mother Nature doesn't follow a schedule—and neither do we. We don't pick fruit because the calendar says it's time. We harvest everything when it's truly ready. If it needs another day on the tree, vine, or in the garden, we wait. If it's perfect today, that's when we pick it. We believe that's one of the reasons our customers come back year after year.

🍑 U-Pick Hours
8:00 AM–2:00 PM
During the summer, we end U-Pick at 2:00 PM because of the afternoon heat. If you'd like to pick earlier, just give us a call—we're often happy to arrange an earlier picking time.

Our recorded phone message is updated throughout harvest with the latest information about what's currently ripe and available in the farm store and for U-Pick. Since Mother Nature is in charge, availability changes from week to week, so the recording is the quickest way to hear what's fresh before you make the trip.

During harvest, we're usually outside picking fruit, tending the garden, changing irrigation water, helping customers, or taking care of the farm. We do our best to answer Facebook messages, but it may take us a little while to respond. If you need the quickest update on what's available, please call our message line.

We're closed on Sundays so our family can spend time together, catch up on the work that keeps the farm running, and prepare for another busy week in the orchards.
