Shriver Meats

Shriver Meats Small family owned USDA inspected beef processing plant. Beef cattle are fed in our feed lot for at least 6 months before being processed for the consumer.

Take a few minutes to watch this video about our farm:

https://vimeo.com/139229827?ref=fb-share Family owned processing plant with USDA inspection. Cattle are raised in our feedlot for at least 6 months before being processed for the consumer. We raise the hay, barley, corn and silage used on the farm to feed the cattle. Our beef are free from antibiotics and hormones. We sell quality beef to the

consumer. Shriver Meats celebrated 50 years in business October 2014. Norman J. Shriver Jr. started processing a couple of beef in his garage in 1964 and over the years the business grew to just processing a few a week to processing on an average 30 beef a week. Besides processing beef from their feed lot, the shop also does custom processing for area farmers who raise and sell their beef animals privately. We pride ourselves with providing a quality product to our consumer.

We are closed today as we take a moment to remember and celebrate the ultimate sacrifices of our heroes on Memorial Day.

We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love, thoughts, and prayers during this difficult time as we mourn the loss of Norman.

Norman was a devoted businessman, a hardworking farmer, a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and a true friend to so many. His life was one of dedication, strength, and quiet generosity, and his impact will continue to be felt in our family and community for years to come.

Thank you for standing with us, for your kindness, and for honoring his memory alongside us. Your support means more than words can express.

It is with very heavy hearts that we share the passing of Norman Shriver.
Norman wasn’t just the founder of this business—he was the reason it exists. Farming wasn’t just what he did, it was who he was. He loved the land, the work, the early mornings, and everything that came with it. If you knew him, you also knew his love for sports and for his family.
Everything we do here is rooted in the values he lived by every single day—hard work, honesty, and caring for others. His presence will be missed more than words can express, but his legacy will live on in our family, our work, and this business he built from the ground up.
Thank you for supporting something that meant so much to him.
Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers during this time.
