The Orchard is a family owned fruit farm and store front located 7 miles North of Emporia, KS on Highway 99. The store is open seasonally (typically late August-December). You can also find us at the local Farmers Markets in Lyon County. We sell a variety of Kansas made products and produce which include: apples, honey, cider, pumpkins, cheeses, mustards, dip & soup mixes, baking mixes, jams & jel

lies, beef jerky, candles, and many other homemade products. We also have a rustic 18 hole miniature golf course built from native limestone rocks and a pond where you can feed the fish!

My name is Kim and I have been excited to begin my own business. I am looking at my red roses and thinking that it's time to gather the petals to make some delicious jelly! My rose jelly is my absolute favorite of all that I made for the Emporia Farmers Market a couple of years ago.

The last indoor Emporia Farmers Market is Saturday, April 18th, from 10am-Noon at Waters Hardware Emporia (2727 W US Hwy 50). Come and get fresh asparagus while you can! We will also have frozen gallons of apple cider, honey, pecans and roasted pumpkin seeds.

We're asking you to keep Bob in your thoughts and prayers.

Bob (or as we know him, grandpa) had a fall while picking asparagus. After feeling some pain, it was found that he fractured his neck. This apparently wasn't the first time, they discovered it was a previous fracture and rebroke. He will be having surgery tomorrow so he can be back on his feet again soon. We're asking you to keep him in your thoughts and prayers during his procedure and recovery.
