🌽🚜🎃 There’s just something special about local agriculture.

These photos were taken a few weeks ago as the first corn of the season was going into the ground. Today, those fields are growing the sweet corn, pumpkins, and vegetables that will eventually make their way to Sweet Pea’s Mercantile.

We’re incredibly grateful to partner with a local Enumclaw family farm that shares our passion for quality, community, and hard work. We worked with them last year, and it has been such a joy to continue that relationship. One of our favorite things is seeing three generations working side by side, each playing a part in bringing amazing produce from their fields to our community.

This year they’re growing our sweet corn, multiple varieties of pumpkins, and other seasonal vegetables, helping us bring you the freshest products possible—grown right here on the Plateau.

Supporting local farmers means supporting families, preserving farmland, and investing in the community we all love. And honestly, with views like these, how blessed are we to live and work in such a beautiful place?🌽🚜🎃

We can’t wait to share the harvest with you.

I decided to jump in on this trend, and honestly… it turned out better than I hoped. 🥰 Although Peanut looks a little older than she is. 🤍🐾🤍

A little Sweet Pea’s Mercantile, love for family, supporting local farmers, endless lists, a Dr Pepper close by, with faith at the center of it all, and Peanut making sure everyone feels welcome.

But…most importantly, it captures the things that matter most to me—family, community,and the privilege of serving both through this little business we love.

From partnering with local farms and helping customers find the perfect gift, to becoming Mimi and watching our family grow, this season of life is full in all the best ways.

We are here because of your continued support & we couldn’t do it without you. ❤️

There’s just something about the first local strawberries of the season that feels like summer has officially arrived. ☀️(even if it doesn’t look and feel like it outside.)😝
