βAll is well in my Fatherβs house,β Marilyn A Miller, 88, of Erie MI, whispered from John 14 just days before her graduation day on March 30th, 2026.
Marilyn died peacefully in her home that she and her husband of 62 years built adjacent to the Keeney Homestead, established in 1828. Marilyn was born on June 14, 1937 to Wallace W. Keeney and Viola (Heck) Keeney. She spent most of her life on the homestead with over 35 years spent managing and building Keeney Miller Orchards in Erie, MI. She spent her entire life homemaking and farming. She took great pride in tending to the orchard and land carrying her family legacy forward. Generations of customers appreciated her kind words, listening ear, and ready smile.
Only her faith and her family meant more to her than the farm. She is survived by her four children Dr. Wallace Miller (Sharon) of Fairfield; Linann (Miller) Teggart (Michael) of Bowling Green: Lynette (Miller) Frost (Pat) and Linda (Miller) Gardiner (Tom) from Erie, MI She is survived by 12 grandchildren, Wally Miller (Amanda), Steve Frost (Mary), Joshua Miller (Faith), Erin Frost, Andi Teggart (Eric), Caleb Miller (Sara), Kerry (Teggart) Black (Taylor), Timothy Frost (Candace), TJ Gardiner (Sarah), Katherine Teggart, Todd Gardiner (Janel), and Hope Teggart. Marilyn loved babies and was thrilled to have 26 great grandchildren, with more joining the family in 2026.
Marilyn was preceded in death by beloved husband, Theodore E. Miller, parents Wallace and Viola (Heck) Keeney; sister Donna (Keeney) Sigler, great-grandson Logan Tobias Frost.
Marilyn loved family history, reading, baking, documenting and farming. She loved sharing the farm with her great-grandchildren and saw her entire family as a living legacy. She was a prayerful, generous, and loving mother and grandmother.
Marilyn was quick to mention Godβs goodness. She was rooted and grounded in her faith in Jesus Christ whom she faithfully followed.
A public visitation will take place at Lewis Ave. Baptist Church (6320 Lewis Avenue, Temperance, MI) on Monday, April 6 from 4-7 PM with a service following at 7 PM.
